WhatsApp released Picture-In-Picture (PIP) mode on Android last month and now the company has started rolling it out for the Whatsapp web. Through this feature, Whatsapp users can play videos in a chat window only. That means that if you are talking to someone on Whatsapp and you want to watch the video then you will not need to come out of the chat window. In Picture-In-Picture mode, you get a touch for other apps, including YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
According to the report of WABetaInfo, this feature has been released on the version of the Whatsapp web site 0.3.2041. Let’s say that earlier this feature was working only with videos shared on Whatsapp, but now it has been given the support of Facebook, Instagram and YouTube videos.
By now you may have noticed that a large window was opened when watching the video coming on the Whatsapp web which contains video play. But after the coming of this feature, the video coming to WhatsAppApps will be opened in a different box, which will be beneficial for watching the video as well as chatting.
Let’s say that the Whatsapp app is constantly working on new features to improve user experience. Recently the company gave a new group calling button in the iPhone app. The Android app is also expected to get this button coming soon. Be informed that so far Android users call first-hand users for group audio or video calls, after which they add another participant. But before the start of the new button, the participants can be added to the group call before the call comes.
